Here we are, half-way through he NFL 2012-13 season and it is time to hand out our Mid-Season MVP awards… the top 5 fantasy football players at each of their respective positions. We will see if these folks can sustain this level of play or fall by the way side as the season progresses.
It is interesting to note how the ranks have changed since the last time we handed out MVP awards five weeks ago. Those that we lost: RG III – have they figured you out? /Ryan Fitzpatrick – you need to grow the entire beard, not just the goatee / CJ Spiller – another casualty of the injuries / Jamaal Charles – another casualty of a bad franchise / Roddy White – no joke here / Dwayne Bowe – see Jamaal Charles / Mike Wallace, Jimmy Graham, Vernon Davis round out those who have declined.
However, let’s recognize the new players who have taken their spots: Aaron Rodgers – returning to form? / Peyton Manning – No Bronco / ADP – back on top / Doug Martin – thanks to the Raiders / Brandon Marshall – finally playing up to his level / Percy Harvin – under the radar / Vincent Jackson, Owen Daniels, Jason Witten are rising to the top.
