I’d like to be the first to congratulate the Boston Red Sox on their 3-0 sweep elimination at the hands of the Angels today!

It’s really sad how relieved I am that the Red Sox 2009 season has now officially come to a close.  As a die hard Yankee fan the only thing that is worse than the Yankee’s losing is the Red Sox winning.  I could almost bear to have the Yankees lose as long as Red Sox fans aren’t happy.

Of course I should know better than to doubt that the Yankees couldn’t beat the Sox, it is after all the year of Seven when it comes to sports.

For example, who is my favorite NCAA Men’s Baksetball team…the UNC Tarheels of course, your 2009 NCAA Mens Basketball Champions.

And who is my favorite NBA team?  Come on its the 2009 NBA World Champion Lakers, always has been.

So lets just say when the Yankees win (yes when) I’m going to officially retire as a sports fan.  No way I can top this year…
