Guitar-based digi bongo acapella rap funk novelty folk band?

fotc60sWell our favorite novelty music act may have been snubbed from the emmys but perhaps a bigger claim to fame awaits our favorite heroes Bret and Jemaine, better known as Flight of the Conchords.

If they can be believed (and who knows if they can but their label SubPop also confirmed it) the Kiwis will have at least three of their songs coming to a Rock Band game near you as downloadable content.  Just which three songs haven’t been revealed just yet but SubPop also claimed in an interview last year that they were working with the developers to convert all of the Chonchords songs to the popular game.

So which three songs would you like to see for the first release?    If I’m thinking of which three songs would best fit Rock Band you have to think of something that includes good guitar, drums and vocals.  That makes it a little bit hard because our boys aren’t known for their drumming prowess.  They have also confirmed that one song from the new album (I told you I was Freaky aka the season 2 songs) would be part of the first downloadable track pack.  I’m thinking we’ll probably also see some more of their popular stuff so prime candidates would be Business Time, Robots, The Most Beautiful Girl in the Room and Sugalumps.

Now what would it take to get playable versions of them in the game?
