How marshmallow Peeps are made

Easter definitely has some great treats… the chocolate bunny, cadbury mini eggs, Reese’s PB eggs, but the most famous treat has got to be Peeps. Back in the day I would down a whole row of Peeps like nothing. Although, I can’t consume them like I used to but they are still a must have every Easter.
I came across this slideshow of pictures today that walks through the production process for the wonderful treat.

Return of the AFL
This season marks the 50th anniversary for 8 of the old AFL teams including the Oakland Raiders. The NFL will celebrate these anniversaries this season during “Legacy Games”. During one home and away game, former AFL teams will meet head-to-head while wearing their throwback uniforms. The Raiders will play the Chargers on the Monday Night Football opener (Sept. 14th).
The Raiders will rock their uniforms from the 1963 season: White (away) jersey featuring silver numbers outlined in black; silver helmet with original Raiders logo. Click the link below to see all eight teams.

The cat is out of the bag
The Lions new logo was leaked on the NFL store recently. Not a dramatic change so I wonder why it was changed at all. I don’t hate the Lion’s new look but it is not that great either. The link below has a few other images to look at.
