A number of video game announcements trickled out from CES this week and one that was originally met with little fanfare was EA announcing that they would be creating their own space in PS3′s vastly underwhelming Home. After further review however (and helpful video demo) it actually looks pretty cool and I’m optimistic for the future of Home if they and other companies take this approach with it. Check out the video below.

Now is your chance! Hardcore Gamer, a somewhat niche print magazine for video games is apparently up for sale and what better way to sell your business then EBAY? Thats right the owner has put the whole shebang, copy rights, back issues, staff, etc… up for sale on EBAY for the low low starting price of $42,000. Sounds like a bargin right? And now with the death of EGM the video game magazine market (that isn’t dying at all no no) can be yours!

I still can’t believe the way the Utes jumped out on Alabama last night in the Sugar Bowl. In the back of my mind I was still thinking okay… 21-0 is an awesome start but it won’t last… the Tide is too strong… but the Utes responded to the Tide’s comeback and dominated the SEC powerhouse. Even though I live in Utah I’m not a fan of the Utes (Go Cougars!) but I have to give props to their performance last night. Nice job Utes.

Wow have I not been paying attention to the NFL this season or what? It was announced today that Peyton Manning won his third MVP award in a landslide and second and third place went to Chad Pennington and Michael Turner. I didn’t even think he had that good of a season. And second and third were Pennington and Turner? What in the world is the NFL coming too?
