The Rays are De-Deviled
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays have officially dropped the “Devil” from their name and have released new unis and a logo. They have even dropped the “Tampa Bay” from the road jerseys which has made the fanbase worried that they will be moving in the near future.

Flight of the Conchords-again
Posted by showtime in Entertainment, SEVEN on November 25, 2007
Well it looks like the user who posted all of the Flight of the Conchords clips has had his account suspended on Youtube and all the clips have been taking down. Interesting that this happened right after the DVD’s came out.
Anywho, I did find a new clip compilation with several funny clips from the show.
WARNING: To echo Showtime’s warning from earlier, this is an HBO show and as such they do use the occasional PG-13ish language.
OH BROTHER! NO MAS EDITION!
Posted by showtime in Entertainment, REALITY RAP-UP, SEVEN on November 22, 2007
Well it appears that the speculation flying over the ominously placed Big Brother audition commercials all over CBS the past couple of weeks may in fact be true. With the writers strike CBS has decided to fast track a winter edition of nobodies favorite Reality show. And the best news of all, rumor has it that this will be a celebrity edition. I myself have doubts (or is that wishful thinking) since if this was in fact a celebrity edition then CBS wouldn’t be airing the open casting call commercials 24-7, that is unless the twist is to have both celebrities and regular folk, aww who am I kidding this show is cast with wannabe actors and actresses anyway. Thats no different then pulling on a few D list celebs…
Check out this TV Guide link for the info:
EDIT: This just in, Big Brother season 9 has now officially been confirmed for a February start date, assuming that the writers strike runs into the new year, and its not going to be a celebrity edition. Good news or bad? You make the call!
Yo Joe!

Alright I’m a little late to the party I admit but I think the new 25th anniversary GI Joe figures are the coolest thing to come down the toy pipeline in years. Its unfortunate that now as a family man I no longer have disposable income to buy nifty toys but hey, its never too soon to start indoctrinating my 2 1/2 year old son into the way of the Joe is it?
Anywho, the line has been a big success (assuming you can actually find the buggers. Is Toys R Us the only place that carries these?) and now what was a limited 25th anniversary celebration will continue with more waves of your favorite figures next year.
Check out the link below for a pic and check out YoJoe.com for all the latest and greatest info on the Joe’s.
Now you know and knowing is half the battle!

Arrested Development Returns?!?!?! COME ON!
Posted by showtime in Entertainment, SEVEN on November 16, 2007
Okay so perhaps the headline is a little misleading but Jason Bateman recently conducted an interview (in a press junket for his horrible looking new holiday movie with Dustin Hoffman) and said there is a long term plan to bring the cast back together for a reunion or movie down the road and everyone is on board. However its too soon to do it right now. Another ray of hope for what was one of the best shows of all time? Or is Mr Potty mouth Jason Bateman (have you seen the blooper reels from this show? Bateman has got to have Tourette Syndrome) just messing with us? COME ON!

The Office-the game
Posted by showtime in Entertainment, SEVEN, Video Games on November 13, 2007
So you may not be aware but there is an officially licensed “The Office” PC game that has been released recently and according to Gamezebo.com its worthy of a 4 out of 5 stars review (no I had never heard of Gamezebo either). So can you expect all the fun filled humor and inside jokes from the show? Well not exactly. Judging from screenshots it appears to be little more then a warmed over copy of Diner Dash with mugs of “The Office” characters sprinkled throughout. So if your down with that sort of thing and like the Office, give it a shot.
