Droppin

This was announced a few weeks ago but better late than never.  The Arizona D-backs have changed their logo/uniforms for the 2007 season.  They went with a new color scheme that better reflects Arizona in their minds by using a Sedona Red, Black, and Sand for a trim accent.  They have also modified the typeface of the script used on the jerseys which looks pretty good.  They have also created a new alternate logo that is a lowercase db back-to-back to make up a snake head, pretty cool in my opinion.  There are a total of four jerseys which will give them many different combinations to choose from throughout the season.  They are still using the capital A and the snake D logo but they have been slightly modified.  Overall I am in favor of this new look as the purple, teal, and gold is no longer a great scheme; however, I am not a fan of keeping the old stuff around as I think it weakens the complete identity package.  Check out some of the other photos on their website…
