No commentsThe most akward thing in the world…
Alright so I want you all to close your eyes for a moment while I describe a new tech device to you…oh wait if you close your eyes you won’t be able to read this…hmm didn’t think about that. Okay don’t close your eyes but pretend you are closing your eyes.
.
.
.
Now I want everyone out there who is into any sort of texting, blackberrying, thumb typing to think about the devices that you do this kind of activity on. What do they all have in common? well you hold the device and type using your thumbs. Most devices of this sort, or all that I can think of would have the keyboard placed below the screen because thats where your thumbs would be positioned. Most would assume based on the fact that we are all human beings and we all have our thumbs in the same place that this would be pretty standard right?
.
.
.
Well WRONG!!! Sony knows better then you so without further ado I give you the most akward thing in the world!!!

I don’t know how you hold your PS3 controller, but I have no clue how my thumbs are getting all the way up there to type. Seriously who was this designed for an alien gorilla?!?!

No commentsRonald Chevalier
For all you FOTC fans, I give you… Ronald Chevalier But before you click I must warn you, this is a little strange.
I’m really in the game!
I know this technology has been kickin around for a while but this is the best implementation that I have seen thus far. The upcoming EA title, Facebreaker, gives you the option through EASportsWorld.com to upload a photo of yourself and then download it to your PS3 to create your own boxer! You can then make changes to the hair, body, clothes, etc. I do have to warn you that it does take a while but it is worth it. I hope other EA titles adopt this very soon.
So go out and download the demo on the PS Network and link up your EA profile with your EASportsWorld profile and have some fun.

Kobe trying to go back in time
Nike released the Marty McFly today, you know those shoes from the Back to the Future movies that he used while escaping Biff on the hoverboard. These do not have auto-laces but they are still intriguing nonetheless. It is noted that there were only 350 of them sold today so if you want a pair and have a grand, hop on over to ebay. There are some good picks of them out there as well. Kobe made an appearance at the release in a Delorian no less since this really is a different colorway of his shoe.

Murray vs Federer
Check out this new Nike spot featuring that great Conchord manager, Murray vs 2008 Wimbledon loser, Roger Federer. Notice the smooth tricks Roger can do with his racket (ala Tiger bouncing the ball with his club).
No commentsAir Kobe 4…Lebron VI…THATS SHOEBIZ!
Plain and simple, pics of the new Air Kobe 4 and the Lebron VI…

This is the Air Kobe 4. Kobe was rumored to have asked for a low cut shoe this time around. Its also heavily influenced by soccer shoes. Growing up in Italy Black Mamba was a big fan of soccer and still plays today in the off season to help with conditioning. I can’t put my finger on it and yes its a little busy but I like it.
And here is the Lebron VI

and hey while we are at it, take a look at one of the coolest Carolina themed shoes I have ever seen, the Jordan XV SE:

Thanks as always goes out the folks on NikeTalk for the pics.
No commentsSuperSonics reach the end…
Its official. After a suprise agreement today the Sonics of Seattle are no more and will be moving on to Oklahoma City for the 08-09 season. As a huge sonics fan in the early 90’s (those post Magic pre Shaq & Kobe teams were hard to get behind, other then Vlade of course) its truly a sad day to see this storied franchise go. I mean how can a former NBA champion just fade off into nothingness? The whole thing stinks to high heaven and I can’t for the life of me figure out why Stern has all along seemed to say “screw you Seattle we are moving them” and never made an effort to keep them there.
People of Seattle you have my condolences…just remember the good times, Payton, Kemp, Schrempf, Perkins, McMillan, etc…

No commentsNew Kids On The Block Recording Song With New Edition!?!?
Surely we don’t need any more signs that the end of days is near but here is another one. Years after either group put out any noteworth tracks the NKOTB & NE are teaming up for a one song collaboration that will have the world on its ear…if it had happened in 1989 perhaps.
Read on if you absolutely must know…

No commentsFuzzy Bunny

I don’t really have anything to say here, just that the Bones pic Showtime put up was freaking out my son every time Droppin loaded up so I wanted to replace it with something a little tamer. Of course now that I think of it he always tells me he is scared of fuzzy bunnies too…
